There is nothing WRONG with this product.The early generation Blackberry phones all used mini USB and the new generation use micro USB. So please if you are going to leave inaccurate information or if you are not knowledgeable in this field it is best to do your research first rather than discredit the product or seller.

To let you know the other reviewers misunderstood the mini-usb on the newer Blackberry mini-usb. This mini-usb is for the older Blackberry Curve like you will find on the portable hard-drive. So you should not base the review on the other reviewers that said it was bad. After all they never used it at all. That being said it's still a bad product.
Now for my review. It fit my Blackberry Curve without any problem. I've charged this once and the next thing I know it had problem holding a charge. It would charge my phone for about a minute and turned itself off. Now you might happen to buy one that does not have this problem. But I would doubt it since it's been out for over a year (my guess is at least 2 years) so it would of been sitting around on the shelf and most likely the battery has gone bad.
Another negative on this product is that the battery would get hot during charging.
Another negative is it does not charge the battery at the same time it charge the phone.
I will try revive the battery by charging and discharging it a few times to see if that trick would work.

Does not work with BlackBerry Curve 9330Mar 20, 2011

It was very difficult to determine the applications for this product. Because the ad read that it would work with BlackBerry, I ordered it, but it does not fit. The connector is mini USB and I needed a micro USB. I contacted the seller to arrange a return and he wanted to charge a 50% re-stocking fee and I pay postage both ways (so, three ways postage total). I told the seller that the ad was not clear and he advised me that he could not change any verbiage in the ad. I asked him once again to re-consider, but he declined. Oh well, it's not horrible. Someone at work will just get a gift charger tomorrow for his or her mini USB connection phone.
Anyway, I have one of these chargers (the right one) for the BlackBerry Curve 9330 and wanted to buy one for my wife. The product, as long as the connection is correct, works very well. I did find the correct one and bought it.
Great product, but be careful about the connection to ensure that it fits the BlackBerry that you have.

"Amazon buyer"
Do not buy from these people they advertise this for Blackberry and it is not. I wrote them to complain and they agree and they have not pulled item from amazon. They are pretty ignorant thinking that a standard mini usb fits Blackberry.
