4Excellent choice for backup powerFeb 05, 2010
By J. Simon "JFS737"
The device is quite small and very light, a bit smaller but about the size of a deck of cards and with about 1/2 the deck missing. It came charged as indicated and with a nice coiled but short adapter cable of about 7 inches which stretches to about 20 or so. It plugs into the battery via a full size USB port and the other end accepts the tips.

It came with six tips, which are Apple, LG, Samsung, Balckberry/HTC/Motorola (Mini USB), Micro USB and Nokia.

It has a small, and quite nice suede style pouch with a draw string which can be secured via a small platic spring loaded attached clip. Included also was a multi language instruction sheet.

The battery itself is quite sexy, being small, light an rounded and very simple. It has 4 lights on the front which indicate charge level and they appear when recharging or when a small button on the top is pressed.

On the side it has a full size USB port (power out... assuming 5V), and a Mini USB for power in (recharging the Energi device). There is also a tiny pinhole for a "reset", not sure why it'd be needed.

It's so small and light you could carry it anywhere and 2000 Mah is quite a bit for todays cellphones and MP3 players... should get you an extra day or 3.

Went to the Energi website and orderred 2 new tips "free". They charged my $9 to ship, a bit much I think but cheaper than IGO I believe.
I am digging it.

5Keeps your phone going!Aug 31, 2010
By Chris
I'm constantly on the road, and tend to talk a lot on the phone. There is no battery that can resist, let alone the iPhone's. So I need a way to recharge my phone and get the most of it until I get home at night.
This has been a very good companion. Lightweight and it works with my Nokia even when the battery is fully drained.

Charging this unit thought a USB port is a great advantage, as you don't necessarily need a computer to charge it, you can use a USB wall outlet available at many stores for almost nothing, so you can charge the Energi to go without a PC. I believe there are such devices for your auto as well.

The factory tips are enough for most users: Nokia, Blackberry, iPhone/iPod, Samsung, etc.

5Wow! Charges fastDec 15, 2010
By M. A. Mcduffie "Rocking Nash"
Since there have been many reviews already I am just backing up everyone because it works. When I travel sometimes my smart phone is dead by 5pm so I need to call someone or lost I cant! But with the Xp2000 just plug it in and go. Safety first :)

5Handy, efficient, reliableMar 15, 2011

I've been using this for about 2 months now for my Samsung Mesmerize (Galaxy-S with a gorgeous screen, light, large, and super power-hungry). I love the size and the portability of the Energizer. It's unfortunate that it doesn't receive charge through the USB port, which would let me use any of my many USB to USB cables. The input power port is mini-USB, so all the connections and orientation have to change from charging-my-phone mode (micro USB), to recharging-the-charger. For me, this is offset by the fact the cord itself with its various charging tips means I have a way to charge pretty much anyone else's smart phone too, it worked fine on my sister's iPhone 4. That's a bonus! A completely configurable USB-to-anything cable. And I use this little device, just so when I pick up my phone in the morning, if I forgot to charge it overnight, I can still give it a charge while I'm doing something else with it, like playing a game. It's not just for travel, it's for being free of a wall socket, or the laptop, or whatever. The perfect coffee table accessory, although low on the elegance scale--again, it's small. Totally reliable so far. Hope this helps.
